Service Delivery Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +7 more states.

📋 Description

• Leadership and management of the team

• Guide, mentor, and develop a team of Project Managers

• Define and implement project management standards, methodologies, and best practices

• Offer support in project planning, execution, risk management, and client communication

• Oversee team capacity, distribute workloads, and align resources

• Standardize processes, tools, and reporting for project lifecycles

• Enhance accuracy in project scoping, forecasting, and change order management

• Promote ongoing improvement in the quality, speed, and predictability of delivery

• Establish and monitor KPIs, including on-time delivery, budget performance, and client satisfaction

• Collaborate closely with Consulting, Engineering, and Account Management teams to ensure smooth delivery

• Assist in pre-sales functions, such as scoping, estimating, and proposal creation

• Directly oversee high-priority or intricate client projects

• Guarantee that projects are completed on schedule, within scope, and on budget

• Manage project governance, including risk, issue, and change management

• Maintain responsibility for the financial performance of projects (margins, utilization, forecasting)

• Serve as an escalation point for project-related challenges and client issues

• Coordinate with internal teams to identify and allocate the appropriate talent for each project

• Reconcile project budgets, analyze projected versus actual expenditures, and modify forecasts and billing as required.

• Ensure proactive communication with stakeholders through status meetings and reports.

⛳️ Requirements

• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is mandatory

• Minimum of 6 years of project management experience, ideally in IT services, consulting, or managed services

• At least 2 years of experience in leading, mentoring, or managing Project Managers or delivery teams

• Strong grasp of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid)

• Proven track record of managing multiple complex projects and navigating competing priorities

• Experience in managing project budgets, forecasting, resource planning, and financial performance.
