Service Delivery Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete service installation process for Edged’s data center clientele.

• Direct installation initiatives that encompass interconnection, space, power, cooling solutions, and additional services.

• Ensure adherence to service-level agreements and project deadlines.

• Serve as the primary liaison among customer teams, internal departments, vendors, and business stakeholders.

• Generate and maintain installation reports, inventory records, space management, power delivery, and interconnection assets.

• Collaborate with construction managers, contractors, and third-party vendors throughout both construction and operational stages.

• Function as the subject matter expert for Edged’s product offerings.

• Evaluate construction drawings and coordinate efforts with design and construction teams.

• Collaborate with Procurement and Operations to enhance service availability and reduce delivery lead times.

• Oversee service delivery projects from strategic planning to tactical execution, including inventory and design management within operational systems.

• Cultivate relationships with external vendors, contractors, and distributors.

• Enhance customer experience across various functional teams.

• Develop and manage contracts and RFIs with third-party entities.

• Formulate and manage remediation strategies for project challenges.

• Stay informed about data center MEP, networking, and IT assets.

• Assist in infrastructure planning and capacity management efforts.

• Refine processes and procedures to improve efficiency.

• Attend industry conferences as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years in managing mission-critical service delivery in data centers, IT service delivery, or large-scale data center operations.

• Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Proven leadership qualities with strong decision-making, performance management, and team coordination abilities.

• Comprehensive understanding of IT infrastructure, data center architecture, MEP systems, and other critical data center infrastructure.

• Familiarity with both air cooling and liquid cooling technologies.

• Ability to manage financial aspects related to projects effectively.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Office 365).

• Competence to communicate confidently and effectively across various organizational levels.

• Willingness to travel/commute between data center locations, with travel requirements estimated at approximately 50%.
