Service Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Work collaboratively with both internal teams and external vendors to address issues, implement solutions, and foster improvements.

• Create designs for environment sizing, application deployment, disaster recovery, and architectural direction for application portfolios and support teams.

• Develop and sustain application infrastructure roadmaps.

• Oversee the current status, performance, and capacity of environments/tools through dashboards.

• Offer technical and professional guidance for supported applications while mentoring junior Engineers.

• Engage in the on-call rotation to provide support for the scheduling package.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise infrastructure or platform engineering.

• Demonstrated experience in supporting Linux and Windows environments within an enterprise context.

• Strong practical knowledge of PowerShell scripting.

• Proficiency in UNIX/Linux shell scripting.

• Familiarity with datacenter technologies including networking, firewalls, databases, virtualization, and access management.

• Proven understanding of security protocols, especially SSL certificate management.

• Experience with Datadog or other similar monitoring and observability tools.

• Background in supporting batch processing environments and scheduling systems software.

• Knowledge of cloud or hybrid infrastructure environments.
