Service Agent, Patient Care Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Address and respond to requests from patients and providers

• Maintain and optimize provider schedules

• Assist patients throughout the intake process

• Appropriately match patients with providers

• Manage administrative duties, including faxes, emails, and authorizations

• Respond to incoming patient inquiries and arrange appointments

• Make outbound calls to patients, pharmacies, and insurance companies

• Create, prioritize, track, and resolve ServiceNow tickets

• Schedule appointments using eClinicalWorks

• Provide support to clinicians via Microsoft Teams Chat

• Arrange follow-up appointments for patients

• Reach out to patients who are tardy for tele-visits

• Dispatch referral information and discharge letters

• Inform patients about their insurance benefits

• Add copies of insurance cards and IDs to patient files

• Troubleshoot minor technical issues or escalate them to the helpdesk

• Ensure optimal scheduling of providers to maximize their time

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities

• Exceptional customer service skills

• Capability to multitask while ensuring accuracy

• Enjoyment of working in a collaborative team environment

• Experience in providing customer service via phone, email, and chat

• Background in answering phones and multitasking in a fast-paced setting

• Familiarity with appointment scheduling

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (M365)

• Availability for either the 9:30am–6:00pm EST or 7:30am–4:00pm EST shift

• Authorization to work in the U.S.; the application will inquire about the necessity of visa sponsorship or transfer

• Experience in Medical Reception and Electronic Health Records is a plus, but not mandatory

• Familiarity with Microsoft Teams is advantageous
