SEO/GEO Strategist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Act as a representative for search and AI visibility during regular weekly meetings with marketing teams and product stakeholders.

• Identify the needs of partner teams and provide the agreed-upon deliverables.

• Create and sustain SEO and AI visibility reports for partner teams and leadership.

• Perform content gap analysis, assess performance decay, and size opportunities.

• Offer actionable recommendations to partner teams.

• Design and execute experiments that impact search and AI-answer visibility.

• Automate repetitive optimization tasks.

• Ensure the reliability of search and AI visibility tools and data, including the Profound instance.

• Transform optimization, briefing, and review tasks into scalable processes.

• Manage projects from inception to completion, including identifying opportunities and measuring outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in creating reports from raw search data using tools like Google Search Console, Ahrefs, and Profound.

• Experienced in conducting content gap or performance analyses and translating them into actionable recommendations.

• Able to collaborate with stakeholders who do not report directly to you.

• Capable of automating or systematizing repetitive tasks.

• Skilled in differentiating between unproven and tested claims, making informed low-cost bets.

• Familiar with structured data, schema markup, and on-page technical elements.

• Comfortable working within a content management system, including the ability to read and edit basic HTML.

• Knowledgeable in scripting or spreadsheet automation for handling large batches of pages, redirects, or keywords.

• Experienced in delivering results in areas that lack a formal team ownership.

• Well-versed in how AI assistants retrieve, interpret, and reference web content.

• Adequate proficiency in English for professional verbal and written communication.
