SEO Strategist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Arab Emirates (UAE).

📋 Description

• Develop and manage comprehensive organic search strategies, encompassing site audits, technical architecture planning, keyword gap assessments, and ROI-driven campaign positioning.

• Lead and implement technical SEO, site structure improvements, schema markup integration, and metadata optimization across platforms such as WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Squarespace, and Wix.

• Incorporate AI tools like ChatGPT and Surfer SEO for content strategy and on-page optimization.

• Organize content for entity-focused search and AI-enhanced discovery platforms.

• Propel local SEO efforts, including managing Google Business Profiles, building local citations, and creating location-specific page structures.

• Formulate national search strategies.

• Track rankings, backlink profiles, and domain authority with tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Google Search Console.

• Implement ethical, white-hat link-building strategies and provide actionable, data-driven reports.

• Collaborate with content creators, web developers, and designers to ensure alignment of brand assets with technical SEO and user experience best practices.

• Oversee workflows using Asana and Slack.

• Manage client campaigns from initial technical audits through to the execution of long-term roadmaps.

• Convert organic data into clear business insights and guide teams towards SEO-first implementations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in creating and executing successful SEO campaigns.

• Ideally experienced in service-based, B2B, local business, or SME sectors.

• Familiarity with UK/Irish markets is a significant advantage.

• Advanced knowledge of SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics 4.

• Practical experience optimizing WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Squarespace, and Wix.

• In-depth understanding of site architecture, technical indexing, local search signals, and principles of conversion-focused content.

• Active experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Surfer SEO, and Claude.

• Excellent written and spoken English skills.

• Strong project management abilities.

• Capability to work independently during European business hours.

• Experience in dedicated eCommerce SEO campaigns is a plus.

• Advanced knowledge of JSON-LD schema markup, structured data, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and basic user experience (UX) principles is a plus.

• Prior experience working directly with Irish or UK-based client accounts and understanding local search behaviors is a plus.
