SEO Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Formulate and implement SEO strategies that enhance rankings, organic traffic, lead generation, and overall business growth.

• Act as the primary liaison for designated client accounts.

• Collaborate with content, development, and design teams to carry out SEO initiatives effectively.

• Develop and oversee long-term content and optimization plans.

• Monitor rankings, traffic, conversions, and overall business metrics.

• Identify and address technical SEO challenges.

• Manage and enhance Google Business Profiles along with local SEO efforts.

• Conduct competitor analysis, track industry trends, and identify search opportunities.

• Stay informed about Google algorithm updates and shifts in search behavior.

• Assess the impact of AI-driven search experiences and suggest strategic modifications.

• Present insights, recommendations, and performance updates to clients and internal stakeholders.

• Provide mentorship and support to junior SEO team members as needed.

• May oversee one or more SEO team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of SEO experience managing competitive campaigns and client accounts.

• Bachelor's degree is preferred in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related area.

• Comprehensive understanding of technical SEO, content strategy, local SEO, and on-page optimization.

• Proven experience managing multiple SEO projects or client accounts concurrently.

• Proficient in tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Trends, and Google Business Profile.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Experience in direct client communication and presenting recommendations.

• Agency experience is preferred.

• Experience working with law firms or legal marketing clients is preferred.

• Preferred experience in managing or mentoring SEO team members.

• Familiarity with E-E-A-T principles and content strategy development is preferred.

• Knowledge of AI-driven search trends, AI Overviews, AEO, GEO, and emerging search technologies is preferred.

• WordPress experience is preferred.

• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship needs.
