This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.
• Design and implement SEO strategies aligned with business goals, organic performance, competitive analysis, and growth opportunities.
• Establish priorities, timelines, deliverables, and SEO initiatives across various client accounts.
• Conduct or supervise intent-driven keyword research, clustering, funnel alignment, and opportunity evaluations.
• Create SEO content strategies and evaluate content briefs, landing page suggestions, and content plans.
• Lead or assess technical SEO audits and manage implementation with developers and stakeholders.
• Define and oversee backlink and off-page strategies.
• Perform SERP analysis, competitor benchmarking, content gap assessments, and identify opportunities for organic visibility.
• Coordinate the execution of SEO recommendations with Content, Development, and other teams.
• Monitor deliverables, deadlines, priorities, and workloads for assigned accounts.
• Review SEO outputs from Analysts and Junior team members for quality assurance.
• Offer technical and strategic guidance, identify bottlenecks, and support team development.
• Serve as the strategic SEO contact for a portfolio of clients.
• Lead monthly performance meetings and engage in strategic discussions with clients.
• Communicate progress, results, challenges, and next steps while adhering to agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Analyze organic traffic, rankings, visibility, Click-Through Rate (CTR), conversions, and other Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Prepare or evaluate monthly performance reports and outline actionable next steps.
• Utilize GA4, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Looker Studio, and other platforms to guide strategy.
• 3–5 years of experience in an SEO-focused position, preferably within a digital marketing agency.
• Solid understanding of on-page SEO, technical SEO, content strategy, and link building best practices.
• Demonstrated experience managing SEO campaigns from inception to completion, including strategy, keyword research, audits, content briefing, follow-up implementation, reporting, and optimization.
• Experience in managing multiple SEO accounts and priorities simultaneously.
• Extensive experience with GA4, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and Looker Studio.
• Ability to conduct, prioritize, and follow up on technical, content, and off-page SEO audits.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to convert data into actionable SEO strategies and business recommendations.
• Excellent organizational and project management capabilities.
• Experience with ClickUp, SENTR, or similar CRM/task management systems.
• Experience in reviewing or mentoring fellow SEO professionals is highly desirable.
• Experience in client-facing roles with exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Capability to work independently in a remote setting and manage priorities effectively.
• Advanced English proficiency is mandatory.
