This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Design and execute automation pipelines that facilitate thorough testing across various environments, utilizing different feature flags and realistic customer data profiles.
• Develop intelligent testing agents that mimic actual user behavior to verify various configuration combinations.
• Create and maintain GitHub workflows and actions to streamline testing, deployment, and validation processes.
• Oversee and enhance Helm charts to ensure consistent deployments across environments.
• Implement and uphold ArgoCD workflows for continuous deployment and effective environment management.
• Establish and promote best practices for testing methodologies, ensuring adherence across engineering teams.
• Construct scalable infrastructure that enables parallel test execution across a range of configurations.
• Develop infrastructure-as-code templates and configurations for replicable test environments.
• Apply containerization strategies for test environments and their dependencies.
• Design benchmarking frameworks to assess performance and reliability across various configurations.
• Monitor and enhance test coverage and reliability metrics.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to comprehend testing needs and convert them into automated solutions.
• Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to testing infrastructure.
• Over 5 years of software engineering experience with an emphasis on automation and testing infrastructure.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and TypeScript.
• Significant experience with GitHub workflows and actions.
• In-depth understanding of testing methodologies and best practices.
• Proven experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with benchmarking and performance testing methodologies.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Background in developer tools or platform engineering.
• Capability to design and implement intricate automation systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
