Senior Product Manager, Developer Experience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Gain insights into our users: Gather customer feedback, perform interviews, and analyze data to map out user journeys and critical tasks for developers, operators, and data scientists.

• Lead the API Platform Strategy & Roadmap to significantly enhance the experience for developers, operators, and data scientists across all Confluent products utilizing AI.

• Establish and prioritize essential initiatives by connecting them to measurable business results (ROI) and confirmed customer needs.

• Oversee the API/CLI/TF interfaces across all Confluent products to provide consistent experiences while enabling product teams to operate efficiently.

• Implement key initiatives across various teams from initial rollout to promoting adoption post-launch.

• Close the feedback loop: Set quantitative and qualitative goals, track performance against these targets, share outcomes with stakeholders, and integrate those insights back into the strategy and product development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience as a product owner or product manager focused on developer-centric products.

• Highly technical with a profound understanding of how developers and tools engage with API/CLI/TF interfaces.

• Strong empathy and enthusiasm for addressing customer challenges and meeting end-user requirements.

• Experience in preparing an infrastructure product for AI integration.

• Background in developing and supporting enterprise-level products as an engineer, product manager, or solutions architect.

• Proven experience in creating, maintaining, and advocating for a clear product roadmap and backlog supported by user stories and customer research.
