Senior Developer Advocate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Establish and nurture robust relationships with founding engineers and technical leaders at startups located in the Bay Area.

• Act as the primary contact for inquiries and support from startups.

• Serve as a bridge between the startup ecosystem and the company.

• Generate technical materials such as blog articles, tutorials, videos, and documentation.

• Create code samples, demonstrations, and SDKs to assist developers in comprehending and utilizing our products.

• Deliver technical presentations, webinars, and workshops at developer-focused events.

• Promote our products and technologies within the developer community.

• Collect feedback from developers and relay insights to the product and engineering teams.

• Work alongside product management to ensure product development aligns with the needs of developers.

• Establish and oversee developer forums, communities, and user groups.

• Organize and take part in developer events, meetups, and hackathons.

• Cultivate a collaborative and supportive atmosphere within the developer community.

• Create and provide educational resources, training materials, and documentation.

• Offer guidance and best practices to empower developers in leveraging our technologies.

• Conduct technical workshops and training sessions.

• Use data and analytics to monitor developer engagement and evaluate the effectiveness of developer advocacy initiatives.

• Provide insights and recommendations based on data to drive continuous improvement.

• Compile regular reports on the performance of the developer community.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of experience in developer advocacy, developer relations, or a comparable technical position.

• Extensive technical knowledge and expertise in relevant technologies.

• Outstanding public speaking, presentation, and communication abilities.

• Strong skills in content creation, encompassing writing, video production, and code samples.

• Excellent project management and organizational capabilities.

• Exceptional interpersonal and community-building skills.

• A genuine passion for technology and a commitment to nurturing a vibrant developer community.
