This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Engage with the web development community to promote best practices and showcase how they are supported by Pantheon.
• Communicate internally with Pantheon’s staff to discuss necessary evolutions to meet market demands.
• Create blog posts that express a distinct perspective on technologies integrated with Pantheon.
• Take ownership of the quality of technical content and contribute to documentation initiatives.
• Provide advisory services to a select group of individual customers through one-on-one discussions.
• Produce video tutorials and prepare webinars, technical presentations, and workshops that illustrate product usage.
• Simplify technical information by translating complex technical concepts into clear language suitable for users with diverse technical backgrounds.
• Actively engage in pertinent online and offline community dialogues.
• Present at conferences to discuss best practices.
• Manage open source projects that are maintained by Pantheon.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to prioritize upcoming features.
• Offer early feedback on upcoming features.
• Lead team discussions while providing guidance and mentorship in areas of expertise to fellow team members and the wider community.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in web development.
• Extensive experience in creating technical content targeted at a developer audience.
• Proficient in building and maintaining high-quality Next.js sites.
• Experience in authoring and maintaining npm packages.
• Proven track record of effective public communication through channels such as conference presentations and blog posts.
• Familiarity with emerging and declining trends in web architectures and JavaScript frameworks.
• Ability to forge cross-functional partnerships and relationships.
• Comfortable engaging directly with customers through platforms like video calls, Slack, and conference booths.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in tools used for open source collaboration.
