Senior/Staff Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and enhance large-scale, highly scalable, fault-tolerant systems that manage extensive graph datasets at an enterprise level.

• Process billions of events from numerous endpoints in real-time, adhering to sub-second latency requirements.

• Architect and implement security solutions to safeguard customer information.

• Address real-world scaling challenges through performance analysis and troubleshooting.

• Collaborate with a modern microservices-based technology stack, including Go, Kubernetes, BigTable, BigQuery, Spanner, Redis, Docker, and Etcd.

• Develop secure, resilient software designed to withstand real-world cyberattacks.

• Handle untrusted data and interact with hundreds of thousands of endpoints via the internet.

• Potentially create API-level connectors that integrate with enterprise SaaS applications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven backend software engineer with a solid history of building backends that are actively utilized at scale.

• Significant experience and contributions to enhancing software architecture.

• Proficient in developing large applications using Go.

• Familiarity with utilizing databases at a very large scale.

• Experience in profiling and optimizing distributed code using large databases and streaming platforms.

• Knowledge of microservices and Kubernetes.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Availability for regular communication with distributed teams across Europe and the US.

• Customer-focused mindset.

• Located in Bangalore for the India position, or based in the EU for the EU Remote position.
