Senior/Staff Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee design initiatives, encompassing the development of new features and enhancements for mobile and web platforms.

• Generate, refine, and prototype ideas for innovative workflows.

• Work collaboratively with engineering and product teams to propose enhancements to products and processes.

• Aid in maintaining visual and user experience uniformity across all products.

• Collaborate with product, engineering, and research teams to shape the design trajectory and future of Runway.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in designing flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity user interfaces for web applications.

• Exceptional visual design capabilities.

• Knowledge of contemporary web technologies, web interactions, and usability principles.

• Experience in delivering rapid iterations in close partnership with engineering, product, and data teams.

• Capacity and adaptability to iterate quickly and frequently.

• Proficient in tackling unfamiliar aspects of the product.

• Familiarity with the creative tool ecosystem.

• Background in collaborating with engineering teams and successfully launching real products.

• Experience with functional prototyping using AI tools like Claude Code or Cursor is a plus.

• Artistic and creative skills, including video/audio editing, icon/typography design, or illustration, are advantageous.

• The U.S. salary range applies to candidates located in the U.S.; the range may differ for candidates outside the U.S.
