Senior/Staff Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• We are looking for a Staff Product Designer to become a vital part of our expanding team and influence the future of AlphaSense’s product experience.

• You will lead with design expertise, systems thinking, and a thorough understanding of our customers’ workflows.

• Your role will involve driving strategic design initiatives—transforming complex, data-driven challenges into intuitive, high-quality experiences that align with our customers’ actual work processes.

• You will collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and AI teams to integrate capabilities into meaningful user experiences—from initial concept to final execution.

• As a senior member of the Design team, you will function as a multiplier, mentoring fellow designers, contributing to our design systems and patterns, and elevating the standards for quality and consistency across the product.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in product design, with a robust portfolio showcasing excellence in interaction design, systems thinking, and the delivery of high-quality, user-centered experiences.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

• Extensive expertise in crafting end-to-end customer workflows, with a proven track record of simplifying complex, data-rich issues into intuitive, habit-forming product experiences.

• Highly skilled in design and prototyping tools, capable of conveying ideas through flows, systems, and high-fidelity prototypes.

• Strong collaborative skills with engineering teams, along with a working knowledge of modern web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Experience with React or similar frameworks is a plus.

• Solid understanding of emerging AI and search technologies, coupled with the curiosity and initiative to integrate new capabilities into real product experiences.
