Design Systems Design Lead

📋 Description

• Set a high standard as an individual contributor, exemplifying excellence in component design, interaction patterns, and documentation.

• Ensure consistency, accessibility, and scalability throughout all design outputs.

• Establish and maintain a long-term design roadmap that aligns with enterprise-wide requirements and the realities of product teams.

• Collaborate with engineering, product, and brand leadership to ensure system alignment with broader organizational objectives.

• Foster a culture of system literacy through workshops, onboarding sessions, and ongoing mentoring.

• Recognize systemic gaps, adoption challenges, and governance requirements to create effective structures for the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Interaction Design, Visual Communication, or a related discipline. Equivalent practical experience will be accepted.

• Proven experience in leading a design team on an enterprise scale.

• A history of making thoughtful design decisions based on user needs and technical constraints.

• Experience managing competing stakeholders and securing buy-in in complex settings.

• Capability to articulate complex design decisions in a way that resonates with non-design stakeholders.
