Senior/Staff Frontend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the design and development of the editor user interface from inception (including canvas, timeline, node graph, and playback features).

• Quickly prototype and refine new creative workflows to test concepts and enhance user experience.

• Set best practices for code quality, performance, testing, and maintainability.

• Work in close partnership with design, product, and AI backend teams to craft a seamless end-to-end user experience.

• Influence critical technical and product decisions as a member of the founding engineering team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

• Proven track record of owning and leading technical projects for high-performance web applications.

• Strong proficiency with contemporary front-end technologies (React, TypeScript, build systems, CI/CD).

• Extensive experience in optimizing intricate UX interactions, particularly in editors, canvases, visual builders, or multimedia applications.

• Capability to design scalable UI architectures and oversee large, dynamic client-side states.

• Enthusiasm for creating fast, intuitive, and aesthetically pleasing creative interfaces.

• Startup mentality: excel in fast-paced environments, take initiative, and tackle ambiguous challenges at scale.
