Senior/Product Manager – Search Experience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of and enhance the comprehensive search experience, including query input, autocomplete, results pages, filters, and scenarios with no results across all platforms.

• Influence search relevance and ranking methodologies by collaborating closely with data science and machine learning teams to consistently enhance the understanding and delivery of results.

• Facilitate discovery and navigation, allowing customers to transition effortlessly between browsing and searching, particularly during intricate health-related journeys.

• Establish and refine the evaluation framework for search, incorporating advanced metrics such as query reformulation rate, zero-results rate, and time to the first relevant result.

• Create and prioritize a high-impact roadmap that balances immediate wins with long-term investments in search infrastructure, user experience quality, and experimentation.

• You possess strong ownership experience in search or discovery products, with a solid understanding of both ranking logic and user experience components.

• You adopt a deeply data-driven approach, having experience in interpreting complex metrics and conducting meaningful experiments that go beyond superficial KPIs.

• You are at ease collaborating with data science and machine learning teams, and you grasp essential concepts such as ranking signals, query comprehension, or semantic search.

• You are passionate about crafting intuitive user experiences and have well-defined opinions on how search functionality should operate across various devices and scenarios.
