Senior/Principal Product Manager – Search Experience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Take charge of enhancing the comprehensive search experience – from query initiation and autocomplete features to results pages, filters, and zero-results scenarios across all platforms.

• Influence search relevance and ranking methodologies, collaborating with data science and machine learning teams to consistently enhance the understanding and delivery of results.

• Facilitate discovery and navigation, allowing customers to transition effortlessly between browsing and searching, particularly during intricate health-related journeys.

• Establish and refine the measurement framework for search, incorporating advanced metrics such as query reformulation rate, zero-results rate, and time to first relevant result.

• Create and prioritize a high-impact roadmap, balancing immediate wins with long-term investments in search infrastructure, user experience quality, and experimentation.

• You possess substantial ownership experience in search or discovery products, comprehending both ranking logic and user experience elements.

• You bring a strong data-driven perspective, with a background in interpreting complex metrics and conducting meaningful experiments beyond superficial KPIs.

• You are adept at collaborating with data science and machine learning teams, and you grasp key concepts such as ranking signals, query understanding, or semantic search.

• You are passionate about crafting intuitive user experiences and hold clear opinions on how search functionality should operate across various devices and use cases.
