Senior/Principal Consultant – Advanced Comp

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Implement and set up Workday solutions for a worldwide clientele.

• Design, configure, test, and deploy business requirements across various Workday HCM modules while remaining adaptable to clients' evolving needs.

• Facilitate working sessions with clients to gather, comprehend, and analyze their business requirements.

• Evaluate actual client needs and recommend solutions or alternatives to achieve client objectives.

• Provide clients with guidance on best practices, identify and suggest process enhancements, and implement system upgrades.

• Lead, consult, execute, and prioritize competing demands on medium to high complexity projects across multiple concurrent clients independently in areas of expertise.

• Frequently discuss and clearly communicate lessons learned from previous client experiences, Workday best practices, and Kognitiv's perspective to clients.

• Ensure clients are aware of and can leverage Kognitiv and Workday best practices.

• Oversee project scope, quality, and timelines in areas of expertise.

• Offer guidance, instruction, direction, and coaching to team members.

• Review team members' work as needed to ensure quality standards are met.

• Conduct research on issues, identify root causes, and present/implement corrective actions to clients.

• Solicit opinions and feedback from team members on alternative solutions to address client needs.

• Contribute to the organization's knowledge management repository through both formal and informal methods (e.g., Q&A, documented deliverables, facilitating Workday knowledge-sharing sessions, regularly posting best practices, etc.).

• Act as a mentor and coach for junior team members.

• Strive to innovate and propose new methods to deploy Workday efficiently and effectively.

• Develop an intermediate understanding of touch points, dependencies, and integration aspects across various Workday areas.

• Achieve key performance indicators set for this position (e.g., utilization targets, service level agreements, customer satisfaction scores, etc).

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in leading and executing Workday implementations, supporting Workday Post Production/AMS Services, or as a Workday client.

• Extensive knowledge of Workday Core HCM, Security, and Reporting, as well as at least one additional Workday module (e.g., Advanced Compensation, Payroll, Recruiting, Talent, Time Tracking, Absence, Learning, Benefits, Prism, BIRT).

• Capability to lead medium to large projects (acquisition, phase X, etc.) throughout the entire project lifecycle in areas of expertise—from initial scoping/planning, discovery, design, testing, to go-live.

• Effectively and actively engage in multiple, parallel projects of various sizes in both support and leadership roles.

• Ability to prioritize and organize tasks to ensure overall timeliness and quality standards without supervision.

• Proven ability to manage timelines, deadlines, and objectives effectively.

• Demonstrated commitment to delivery excellence and client satisfaction; strong client focus with the ability to comprehend client needs and build lasting relationships.

• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Proficiency in clear and effective communication with customers and colleagues in a remote working environment.

• Strong consulting skills with a proven track record of influencing a diverse range of audiences.

• Proven consultative abilities to guide client and internal discussions to timely agreement on solutions.

• Willingness and capability to mentor and/or manage other consultants.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to frequent changes.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are required.

• Willingness to meet travel requirements (<5% annually).
