Senior/Lead Full Stack Developer – Java, React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications utilizing Java and contemporary frontend technologies

• Lead by example while mentoring a development team in daily deliverables

• Continuously enhance engineering practices

• Facilitate technical discussions and contribute to architectural decisions

• Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, and cross-functional teams

• Ensure code is clean, maintainable, and thoroughly tested

• Take ownership of features and independently deliver end-to-end solutions

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of commercial software development experience with Java

• Proficient with Java 17+, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and JPA

• Solid understanding of JavaScript and React.js

• Experience in designing and developing APIs

• Strong grasp of relational and NoSQL databases

• Expertise in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries

• Familiarity with design patterns, clean code principles, and testing methodologies

• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments

• Excellent communication skills in English

• Willingness to utilize modern AI tools in daily development workflows, such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, and ChatGPT

• Experience in early-stage project involvement, shaping solutions, architectural collaboration, and evaluating alternative strategies

• Comfortable taking ownership of technical decisions or justifying proposed solutions

• Ability to travel abroad for business purposes

• Leadership mindset combined with a hands-on approach

• Proactive, self-motivated, and solution-oriented attitude

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Team player with a collaborative mindset

• Ability to accurately estimate work and commit to delivery timelines

• Nice to have: experience with microservices architecture

• Nice to have: cloud and cloud-native experience; AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

• Nice to have: OSS/BSS integrations and familiarity with CAMARA and GSMA standards

• Nice to have: Test-Driven Development (TDD)
