This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
• Lead comprehensive Workday payroll integrations for large and complex clients, ensuring effective setup, data migration, and successful go-live.
• Act as the primary technical and functional liaison for clients implementing Remote’s Global Payroll integrated with Workday.
• Analyze clients’ Workday environments to comprehend data structures, configurations, and dependencies for integration into Remote’s systems.
• Manage the processes of data extraction, transformation, and validation between Workday and Remote’s Global Payroll platform.
• Collaborate closely with clients’ HRIS, Payroll, and IT teams to synchronize HCM-to-Payroll data flows, ensuring precise configuration and compliance.
• Configure Remote’s Payroll system on an individual customer basis, ensuring compliance with local regulations and tax obligations.
• Coordinate and verify parallel payroll runs, reconciliations, and year-to-date adjustments to validate setup accuracy.
• Oversee payroll go-live readiness, ensuring that all integrations, validations, and compliance checks are finalized.
• Transition clients to Payroll Operations teams with thorough and accurate configuration documentation.
• Provide training and guidance to clients on Workday integration processes, data mapping, and payroll best practices.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients to enhance satisfaction, adoption, and retention.
• Contribute to ongoing improvement by identifying opportunities for automation, scalability, and process optimization.
• Uphold the confidentiality and integrity of customer and employee data at all times.
• Participate in quality assurance reviews of peer implementations to ensure alignment with Remote’s standards.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of Workday integration playbooks and internal process documentation.
• Proven experience in implementing or integrating Workday HCM, particularly within a global payroll or HRIS environment.
• Strong knowledge of Workday modules, including Core HCM, Compensation, Absence, Time Tracking, and Integrations.
• Experience in delivering end-to-end payroll implementations with Workday as the primary source of HR and employee data.
• Demonstrated capability to map and validate data between Workday and external payroll systems, ensuring compliance and data integrity.
• Excellent understanding of global payroll operations, statutory compliance, and multi-country payroll configurations.
• Significant experience in customer onboarding and project management for intricate, multi-entity implementations.
• Advanced data management and analytical skills (Google Sheets or Excel).
• An analytical, detail-oriented approach with strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, international setting with numerous stakeholders and competing priorities.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with a customer-centric approach.
• Self-motivated, comfortable working independently and asynchronously across various time zones.
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
• Experience in remote work is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Monday.com, Notion, Slack, and Salesforce is beneficial.
• Knowledge of additional payroll platforms is a plus.
