Senior Workday Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Direct the solution architecture and design for Workday HCM and/or Financials implementations, ensuring alignment with client business needs and Workday's best practices.

• Manage technical delivery throughout the phases of discovery, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and hypercare.

• Provide senior-level support and AMS oversight for clients post-go-live, including complex issue resolution and enhancement planning.

• Counsel client stakeholders and convert business requirements into scalable Workday solutions.

• Guide junior consultants and analysts, offering technical leadership during engagements.

• Collaborate with practice leadership on proposal creation, SOW scoping, and solution estimation.

• Keep track of Workday's biannual release cycle and inform clients of relevant new features.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Workday consulting.

• At least 3 years working on the partner/systems-integrator side; client-side-only experience is not sufficient.

• Active Workday certification(s) in HCM Core and/or Financials Core.

• Experience with at least two complete implementation lifecycles and four ongoing support/AMS projects.

• Strong comprehension of Workday's security framework, business process framework, and Core/Advanced/Composite reporting.

• Familiarity with Workday integration tools, including Core Connectors, EIB, and Studio.

• Exceptional client-facing communication abilities and comfort in presenting to HR/Finance leadership and steering committees.

• Eligible to work in Canada and based in Canada.

• Preferred: experience with Workday Extend, Prism Analytics, or Adaptive Planning.

• Preferred: previous experience at a Workday services partner.

• Preferred: delivery or account leadership responsibilities in addition to hands-on architecture.
