This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.
• Collaborate with the HR Center of Excellence and various business clients to discuss application modifications related to enterprise-wide initiatives.
• Engage in design conversations and ensure the provision of essential functional specifications.
• Attend meetings with different business units to ascertain their requirements concerning user interfaces.
• Create comprehensive functional specifications for assigned projects, which include test plans, test scripts, and the execution of these scripts.
• Perform in-depth research and analysis of complex data to guarantee the accurate functional design of assigned projects.
• Guide less experienced staff in application training, research analysis, and project methodology.
• Organize and lead project team meetings, documenting and distributing minutes as required.
• Review business requirements with the technology team to ensure a clear comprehension of project needs.
• Act as a subject matter expert, providing consultation and guidance on how applications may be influenced by large initiatives.
• Function as Test Coordinator for extensive projects involving multiple modules of Workday.
• Contribute to and document data mapping for system integration, conversion, and acquisition-related projects.
• Expertise in Workday with over 4 years of experience.
• Workday Pro certified in HCM or specialties such as Compensation, Payroll, Time Tracking, Recruiting, Benefits, or Talent/Performance.
• Familiarity with Workday reporting, calculated fields, and custom validation.
• Experience in end-to-end configuration of business processes.
• Proficient in designing and testing configurations, validations, and specialty processes within Workday.
• Dedication to continuous improvement utilizing agile methodology.
• Strong organizational capabilities.
• Experience in large organizations with over 10K employees.
• Outstanding analytical skills to comprehend COE requirements and deliver effective solutions in Workday.
• Demonstrated ability in managing medium to large scale technical projects.
• Excellent customer focus, relationship-building, and expectation management skills.
• Effective communicator with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Capability to meet tight deadlines and make decisions under pressure, balancing COE needs and functionality.
