Senior WordPress Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design and sustain tailored WordPress themes and plugins.

• Manage live and production WordPress environments independently.

• Take ownership of WordPress architecture, technical choices, performance, and security.

• Transform UI designs, layouts, and wireframes into responsive WordPress websites.

• Troubleshoot and fix issues utilizing browser developer tools, such as Chrome Inspector.

• Ensure compatibility across various browsers and devices.

• Work collaboratively with designers, backend teams, and stakeholders to meet project deadlines.

• Employ Git and adhere to standard version-control methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of practical experience in WordPress development.

• In-depth knowledge of PHP and WordPress Core.

• Extensive experience with custom WordPress themes and plugins.

• Proven ability to manage production WordPress systems independently.

• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and MySQL.

• Familiarity with Elementor and/or WPBakery.

• Experience with AWS or other cloud environments.

• Strong analytical skills and capability to work autonomously.

• Experience in healthcare, hospital, pharma, or clinical websites is a plus.

• Familiarity with WordPress multisite or multilingual setups is advantageous.

• Knowledge of PostgreSQL is beneficial.

• Experience with performance optimization, caching, and WordPress security is a plus.

• Background in Agile/Scrum methodologies is desirable.
