Senior WMS Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and assist with the full lifecycle of WMS implementation and configuration projects.

• Evaluate business, functional, and integration requirements to create efficient WMS solutions.

• Set up essential WMS modules including Inbound, Outbound, Inventory, Returns, Picking, and Shipping.

• Work in collaboration with internal and client teams to devise custom logic utilizing client configuration and extensibility tools.

• Assist in API testing (e.g., Postman) and handle system integrations with ERP, OMS, TMS, and MHE/automation systems.

• Develop, assess, enhance, and sustain SQL queries and stored procedures within relational databases (e.g., Oracle, MySQL).

• Conduct root-cause analysis, debugging, and performance optimization (queries, stored procedures, indexing, execution plans).

• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders throughout SIT, UAT, go-live, and post-go-live stages.

• Diagnose production issues and address both functional and technical challenges within established SLAs.

• Engage in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

• Ensure high-quality documentation including technical designs, test plans, runbooks, and configuration records.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• 3-5 years of experience with WMS implementations or supply chain execution systems.

• A robust techno-functional background in any WMS platform.

• In-depth knowledge of warehouse processes: receiving, picking, packing, shipping, returns, etc.

• Advanced SQL skills, including the design and optimization of stored procedures, complex queries, indexing, and performance tuning on relational databases (e.g., Oracle, MySQL).

• Proficiency with API testing tools and system integrations (ERP/OMS/TMS/MHE).

• Proven troubleshooting and debugging capabilities across application, integration, and data layers.

• Exceptional interpersonal, documentation, and communication skills.

• Capacity to work effectively with cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.
