Senior Windows Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Daily support and upkeep of various platforms and services.

• Maintenance of Windows systems.

• Management of the system lifecycle.

• Oversight of configuration management.

• Automation of systems and processes.

• Providing technical leadership in the Windows/platform domain.

• Establishing and executing projects within this area.

• Offering mentorship and facilitating knowledge sharing.

• Ongoing enhancement of platforms, processes, and tools.

• Engaging with stakeholders and clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Windows systems/platform engineering, with a minimum of 1-2 years in broader responsibilities such as leading work, driving projects, or coordinating team efforts.

• Configuration and upkeep of Windows Server environments.

• Patching and managing the lifecycle of Windows and its associated services.

• Experience with domain services, including Active Directory (ADFS knowledge is a plus, depending on your environment).

• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and at least one other programming language (Python is preferred).

• Utilizing Ansible for system and process management.

• Solid understanding of virtualization fundamentals, particularly in VMware, KVM, or OpenStack.

• Maintenance of infrastructure tools hosted on Windows systems.

• Development and upkeep of technical documentation.

• Experience with IAM/SSO using Entra ID and LDAP.
