Senior Webflow Developer – Contract or FT

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee Webflow projects from initial scoping to final launch.

• Convert Figma designs into responsive, production-ready websites that maintain high visual quality.

• Work collaboratively with designers to ensure design intent is maintained across different screen sizes, browsers, and technical limitations.

• Develop and implement quality assurance processes for your own builds as well as those created by freelance developers.

• Create custom components, interactions, transitions, and animations.

• Integrate custom CSS, JavaScript, third-party tools, APIs, and various integrations.

• Make informed technical decisions related to accessibility, SEO, performance, browser compatibility, and maintainability.

• Evaluate the work of freelance developers and establish best practices for development.

• Diagnose complex issues and recommend up-to-date web technologies and industry trends.

• Engage directly with clients and stakeholders, offering technical guidance and proactive solutions.

• Lead build handoffs and develop walkthroughs that empower clients to manage their websites independently.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–8+ years of experience in front-end development.

• A portfolio showcasing polished, live websites.

• Proven experience in building highly interactive or animation-rich Webflow sites.

• Familiarity with GSAP, Rive, Lottie, custom JavaScript, WebGL, Three.js, or other advanced web animation techniques.

• Experience in developing reusable Webflow systems, components, and scalable CMS architectures.

• Proficiency in integrating third-party APIs, analytics platforms, marketing tools, or custom applications into Webflow.

• Background in providing technical direction or reviewing the work of other developers.

• Collaboration experience with teams using Figma.

• Knowledge of SEO optimization and best practices for web accessibility.

• Availability for approximately five hours of overlap with Eastern Time.

• Capability to provide a portfolio link and/or three recently developed live Webflow sites.

• Willingness to include current workload and earliest availability in the application.
