Senior Web Tracking Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Lithuania.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain server-side tracking systems that ensure precise measurement across our platforms.

• Guarantee dependable and accurate conversion signal transmission to Meta, Google Ads, and Amplitude.

• Analyze and resolve intricate tracking challenges across various devices and domains, often beginning with a vague issue.

• Collaborate with stakeholders from PPC, product, and data teams to address data quality inquiries collectively.

• Uphold data governance standards, ensuring tracking remains precise and compliant with privacy regulations across platforms.

• Consistently enhance the quality, dependability, and scalability of the data we gather.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of practical experience in implementing and maintaining web tracking.

• Proficient in server-side tracking implementation (such as server-side GTM or equivalent).

• In-depth understanding of conversion APIs (Meta CAPI, Google Ads conversion imports), including deduplication and identity-matching logic.

• Advanced proficiency in Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and Amplitude.

• Strong foundations in JavaScript and a solid grasp of web technologies (HTML, CSS).

• Comprehensive understanding of data privacy regulations (GDPR) and their real-world implications for tracking implementation.

• Excellent communication abilities, capable of conveying technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.

• Comfortable managing ambiguous challenges without a fully defined scope.

• Nice-to-haves:

• - Familiarity with containerized infrastructure (Kubernetes/GKE, Docker).

• - Experience with SQL and data visualization tools.

• - Exposure to a variety of analytics or tracking platforms beyond GA4/GTM/Amplitude.
