Senior Web Developer – SharePoint Architecture, Development Focus

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Design and architect the enterprise SharePoint information structure, which includes hub sites, site collections, and governance policies.

• Oversee the design of tailored business applications leveraging SPFx, Power Platform, and Azure services.

• Assess technologies and set development standards, best practices, and code review protocols.

• Drive hands-on development of intricate SPFx web parts and extensions utilizing React and TypeScript.

• Create automated workflows and applications within Power Platform, along with custom connectors and external integrations.

• Integrate SharePoint with Microsoft 365 services and enterprise line-of-business software.

• Develop and maintain PowerShell/PnP scripts for automation of administrative tasks, site provisioning, and content migrations.

• Establish and implement the organization's knowledge management strategy within SharePoint.

• Design and set up advanced SharePoint Search solutions.

• Manage large-scale migrations from legacy systems to SharePoint Online.

• Guide and mentor developers and site administrators.

• Provide expert Tier 3 support for complex coding, performance, and integration challenges.

• Collaborate with security, network, database, and other IT teams to ensure secure, compliant, and integrated solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7–10 years of experience in application or web development.

• A minimum of 5 years in architecting and developing custom Microsoft SharePoint solutions, ideally SharePoint Online.

• Demonstrated experience in leading development projects and mentoring less experienced developers.

• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoW Security Clearance.

• Advanced expertise in SharePoint Framework (SPFx), React, and TypeScript.

• Proficient in Power Apps and Power Automate, including complex workflows and canvas applications.

• Strong skills in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

• Advanced skills in PowerShell scripting, especially PnP PowerShell.

• Comprehensive understanding of SharePoint information architecture, security models, and application lifecycle management.

• Experience with REST APIs, Microsoft Graph, and integrating external data sources.

• Microsoft 365 Certified: Developer Associate certification is highly preferred.

• Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert certification is desired.
