This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Develop marketing website components, layouts, and pages with a strong emphasis on HTML semantics, CSS quality, accessibility, performance, and visual refinement.
• Convert Figma designs into live web implementations, collaborating with designers to enhance responsive behavior, spacing, typography, hierarchy, motion, and interaction specifics throughout the development process.
• Maintain the quality standards for production web outputs, reviewing the work of team members and assisting in the establishment of standards, patterns, and reusable components.
• Create custom interactive components, including Web Components and vanilla JavaScript modules, where design expertise and engineering skills intersect.
• Integrate simple animations and transitions in component and page development (for example, CSS transitions, menu fade-ins, hover and focus states, lightweight interactions).
• Contribute to our Next.js applications and shared component library (via Webflow DevLink) to ensure consistent design and functionality across the marketing site and custom web applications.
• Identify and resolve front-end issues using browser DevTools, including layout, rendering, performance, accessibility, and cross-browser challenges.
• Enhance Core Web Vitals and page load performance through responsive image strategies, resource hints, mitigation of render-blocking, script loading, and minimizing layout shifts.
• Apply accessibility best practices, including semantic HTML, heading structure, focus management, keyboard interactions, reduced-motion considerations, and effective ARIA usage.
• Execute and validate A/B tests, personalization experiences, and conversion optimization experiments in collaboration with marketing stakeholders.
• Minimize fragile one-off implementations by developing durable, reusable patterns and clear standards for components, layouts, and interactions.
• Collaborate with the Content and Demand Generation teams as a technical resource for complex layout, component, and interaction inquiries.
• Contribute to the foundational architecture and reusable patterns that support the marketing stack, including component design, CSS variable systems, and interaction methods.
• Make practical trade-off decisions that balance design objectives, engineering quality, timelines, and business outcomes.
• Over 8 years of professional experience in creating production web interfaces that bridge design and front-end engineering.
• Extensive knowledge of semantic HTML and contemporary CSS, including grid, flexbox, custom properties, container queries, logical properties, and the complete selector vocabulary.
• Strong visual acumen, capable of accurately translating Figma designs and identifying refinements related to spacing, typography, hierarchy, alignment, imagery, interaction states, and responsive functionality.
• Proficient in JavaScript, with the capability to develop Web Components and small interactive modules without relying on frameworks.
• Practical knowledge of web accessibility (WCAG), approached as a matter of craftsmanship rather than merely a checklist.
• Solid understanding of Core Web Vitals and front-end performance, including image optimization, resource prioritization, layout stability, and the critical rendering path.
• Comfortable working in visual web authoring tools (e.g., Webflow) alongside code editors, with a pragmatic approach to selecting the appropriate tool for each task.
• Proficient in using browser DevTools for layout, performance, accessibility, and network debugging.
• Familiar with Figma as the definitive source for design handoff.
• Strong understanding of SEO-related implementation aspects, including semantic structure, metadata, heading hierarchy, crawlable content, and content visibility.
• Exceptional attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across design, engineering, content, and marketing teams.
• Capability to constructively challenge implementation strategies and articulate technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
• Fully remote-first work environment with flexible working arrangements 🏡
• Comprehensive Health and Wellness Benefits, including retirement savings programs, eligibility for two different bonus plans, generous time off, and extensive medical and dental benefits based on your location 🧘
• New Hire Equipment Allowance and monthly Flex Allowance to facilitate your success 📦
