This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
β’ Create and model mechanical components in 3D for aeroderivative turbines (such as compressors, combustors, and cooling systems).
β’ Conduct structural and thermal analyses (FEM, CFD) to confirm the design's strength and dependability.
β’ Develop technical specifications, manufacturing illustrations, and design documentation.
β’ Work alongside manufacturing, quality, and testing teams to facilitate product industrialization.
β’ Offer technical assistance during assembly, testing, and commissioning stages.
β’ Ensure adherence to international standards (ASME, API, ISO) and implement optimal design practices.
β’ Bachelorβs or Masterβs degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Energy Engineering.
β’ At least 5 years of experience in mechanical design for turbomachinery or components subjected to high temperatures and pressures.
β’ Expertise in CAD software (e.g., NX, Creo, CATIA) and simulation tools (ANSYS, Abaqus, Fluent).
β’ Familiarity with high-performance materials (superalloys, ceramics, thermal coatings).
β’ Excellent problem-solving abilities and capacity to collaborate within cross-functional teams.
β’ Proficient in English (both written and spoken).
