This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Conduct both On-site and Remote supplier oversight activities to ensure that Westinghouse's technical and quality standards are met.
• Create and execute Supplier Oversight Plans to facilitate the timely completion of crucial document submissions and manufacturing processes.
• Recognize and report supplier-related risks.
• Ensure swift resolution of issues by communicating effectively and coordinating efforts with all stakeholders.
• Track supplier performance metrics, including On-Time Delivery, quality concerns, and Deviation Notices for designated suppliers.
• Apply Causal Analysis (RCA), Corrective & Preventive Actions, and Supplier Improvement Plans to mitigate issues.
• Assess procurement (supplier) risks by gathering partner feedback and utilizing tools to formulate Supply Risk Mitigation Plans.
• Deliver regular progress updates to team partners (Project Manager, Program Director) and the SPE Leadership team.
• Conduct Technical Evaluations of suppliers to evaluate manufacturing capabilities, capacity, process controls, compliance with relevant regulations, codes & standards, and any associated risks.
• Identify discrepancies between supplier capabilities and Westinghouse's Technical/Quality requirements to create and implement Development Plans.
• Oversee Supplier Development and Qualification activities, Supplier Improvement initiatives, and Cost Reduction efforts.
• A Bachelor's Degree or higher in Mechanical/Material Engineering or a related field.
• A minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in Engineering/Manufacturing.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes including electromechanical assembly, printed circuit boards, cable assemblies and harnesses, electrical cabinets, sensors, molding, testing, and inspection.
• Experience in Supplier Evaluation and Qualification processes.
• Proficient understanding of Manufacturing and Quality Plans (Inspection and Test Plans), PFMEAs.
• Proven Project Management Experience: managing multiple concurrent projects.
• Knowledge and experience with IPC / IEEE / ASME standards (norms, codes, technical specifications, drawings).
• IPC or NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) Certifications are preferred.
• Background in nuclear products and standards is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 30%.
