Senior VTEX Full-Stack Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and enhance scalable, high-performance web applications utilizing React and Next.js.

• Apply best practices for SSR (Server-Side Rendering) and SSG (Static Site Generation).

• Enhance Core Web Vitals and overall frontend performance metrics.

• Collaborate with UX/UI teams to convert designs into production-ready code.

• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness across various mobile devices.

• Create, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs.

• Build and manage backend services, ideally using Node.js.

• Oversee authentication, authorization, and secure API integrations.

• Integrate third-party systems and e-commerce platforms seamlessly.

• Write clean, scalable, and well-documented backend code.

• Deploy and manage applications within AWS environments (Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, S3, CloudFront, RDS/DynamoDB).

• Establish CI/CD pipelines.

• Monitor and enhance infrastructure for performance and cost-effectiveness.

• Uphold security best practices across the cloud architecture.

• Work with the VTEX IO framework and VTEX FastStore.

• Develop and customize components for the VTEX storefront.

• Integrate VTEX APIs, including Catalog, Pricing, Checkout, OMS, and Promotions.

• Manage backend configurations and integrations using middleware.

• Identify and troubleshoot issues while optimizing API-based e-commerce workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Professional experience in software engineering.

• Strong practical expertise with React and Next.js, including SSR and SSG.

• Hands-on experience with VTEX (VTEX IO and VTEX FastStore), covering both frontend development and backend/API integrations.

• Comprehensive understanding of backend architecture and APIs, preferably with Node.js.

• Solid knowledge of REST APIs, webhooks, and integration patterns.

• Experience in building scalable systems on AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, S3, CloudFront, RDS/DynamoDB).

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience in agile work environments.

• Background in B2C or B2B e-commerce settings.

• Knowledge of GraphQL.

• Experience with headless commerce architecture.

• Understanding of performance optimization techniques.

• Experience integrating payment gateways and third-party logistics APIs.

• Advanced proficiency in English.
