Senior VTEX Back-End Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Deliver comprehensive features within the scope of the sub-team, functioning independently.

• Obtain technical direction from the squad's Tech Lead/Specialist and client architects.

• Execute features and integrations, from the design phase to deployment.

• Utilize and manage VTEX APIs along with the client’s internal services.

• Develop automated tests and engage in code review processes.

• Resolve defects, promote continuous improvements, and assist with deployments.

• Program in Go for BFFs utilizing hexagonal architecture.

• Collaborate using React, Next.js, Vitest, Testing Library, and Cypress.

• Work with Flutter and flutter_test, mocktail, bloc_test, and Maestro, based on the application platform.

• Integrate VTEX Checkout, Intelligent Search, Headless CMS, and OAuth2 with Keycloak.

• Engage with VTEX Catalog, Pricing, Logistics/Inventory, Promotions, and OMS APIs.

• Collaborate with VTEX Marketplace, handling received SKUs, matching, and co-funding.

• Conduct batch processing and high-volume synchronization.

• Work with Order Hooks/Feed, Logistics, and Delivery Promises.

• Support order processes along with 1P/3P splits, fulfillment, and tracking.

• Integrate with SAP ECC/EWM through SAP-Adapter and TMS.

• Manage RMA rules and back-office/customer service workflows.

• Communicate effectively in a remote work setting and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

• Take responsibility for the quality of delivery in line with the client’s quality gates and ceremonies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Familiarity with Go back-end patterns and practices.

• Full-stack experience with a strong emphasis on back-end development (Go) and Node.js.

• Understanding of security and performance best practices for web and mobile applications.

• Experience in Go (Golang) microservices, ideally using hexagonal architecture.

• Knowledge of VTEX APIs relevant to the sub-team (Pricing, Logistics, Promotions, or OMS).

• Understanding of HTTP/REST APIs, asynchronous integration, and event-driven systems.

• Experience with automated testing tools (testing, testify, mockery) and CI/CD processes.

• Proficient with Git/GitHub and container technologies.

• Spanish language skills are a plus for operations in Colombia.

• Availability to work from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
