Senior Video Editor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the comprehensive editorial workflow for both short-form and long-form video productions.

• Edit documentary-style case studies, brand initiatives, and product highlight videos.

• Convert raw field footage, customer testimonials, and motion graphics into narrative-focused videos that convey Flock's mission and impact.

• Work in collaboration with creative directors, producers, and marketing teams to ensure editorial pacing, visual style, and storytelling standards are met.

• Manage post-production processes, including color correction, sound design, audio balancing, motion graphics integration, and asset organization.

• Create multiple format edits tailored for web, social media, event presentations, and executive keynotes.

• Lead the creative direction of edits and influence narrative structure while emphasizing post-production storytelling.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in video editing, focusing on brand narratives, documentary storytelling, or commercial projects.

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud.

• Extensive expertise in Premiere Pro.

• Strong working knowledge of After Effects.

• Familiarity or experience with LucidLink, Twelve Labs, and generative AI tools like Runway or Figma Weave is an advantage.

• A reel showcasing emotional depth, narrative insight, and technical excellence.

• Capability to construct engaging narrative arcs from unscripted footage and customer interviews.

• A keen eye for pacing, rhythm, visual coherence, and audio editing.

• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States.

• Must comply with FBI CJIS Security Policy requirements, including a fingerprint-based background check, if certification is necessary.
