Senior VFX Artist

📋 Description

• Take the initiative to develop and execute high-quality, efficient, and visually stunning VFX Assets, Tools, and Systems for games, including real-time particle systems, textures and texture atlases, shaders/materials, and necessary scripting/Blueprints.

• Collaborate closely with designers, engineers, and other artists to conceptualize, implement, and troubleshoot VFX.

• Be a proactive self-starter who adheres to deadlines while actively working with the team on VFX objectives, prioritization, and scheduling.

• Identify, diagnose, and resolve performance-related issues.

• Maintain a detailed and organized methodology for creating, documenting, and sharing VFX within the team.

• Exhibit a positive attitude and foster a supportive environment at the studio, remaining flexible and adaptable to the team's needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• A portfolio showcasing your ability in creating and implementing real-time VFX utilizing Niagara in Unreal Engine.

• Expertise in generating VFX Assets using advanced techniques such as fluids and pyro in software like Houdini, Embergen, Maya, Max, Blender, etc.

• Comprehensive understanding of vector mathematics, real-time lighting, post FX, shaders, and real-time performance challenges.

• Proficient in Unreal Engine Blueprint for the implementation of VFX and the development of VFX Systems and Tools.

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Digital Art, a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 5 years of experience in game development or a related industry.

• At least 2 or 3 AAA games shipped in a role as a VFX or Technical Artist.
