Senior Motion Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Conceptualize, design, and implement high-quality motion graphics, animations, UI motions, video content, and digital experiences across various campaigns and content initiatives.

• Create storyboards, style frames, motion studies, and visual explorations that effectively communicate and refine creative concepts.

• Collaborate closely with Creative Directors, Art Directors, Copywriters, Visual Designers, and Generative AI Artists to produce integrated audience experiences across multiple channels and platforms.

• Work together on music selection, sound design, and audio direction to enhance storytelling, strengthen brand expression, and elevate the overall quality of motion experiences.

• Ensure that all motion projects uphold a high standard of craftsmanship, storytelling, technical execution, and brand consistency.

• Assist in pre-production planning, production, and post-production efforts to help maintain the creative intent through to final delivery.

• Investigate AI-assisted motion workflows, automation, and innovative creative technologies that enhance efficiency and unlock new creative opportunities.

• Oversee multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring exceptional attention to detail, organization, and quality.

• Engage in creative reviews, brainstorming sessions, and cultural trend exploration, bringing fresh inspiration and a motion-first perspective to the team.

• Stay updated on motion design, animation, filmmaking, sound design, AI, and emerging technologies to continuously advance the work.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Motion Designer, Animator, or in a similar capacity.

• A robust and diverse portfolio that showcases exceptional motion design, animation skills, and a solid grasp of design principles (typography, color, layout).

• Proficient in Figma and Adobe After Effects; knowledge of Adobe Premiere is a plus.

• Comprehensive understanding of AI workflows and tools.

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Animation, Film, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
