Senior VFX Artist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design high-quality real-time visual effects for gameplay, environments, and cinematics.

• Partner with artists, designers, and engineers to create visually stunning and efficient VFX.

• Contribute innovative and technical solutions that elevate the game’s narrative and immersive experience.

• Investigate new tools, workflows, and techniques to advance the future of real-time VFX.

• Ensure that VFX assets adhere to both artistic and technical standards.

• Collaborate with leads and producers to estimate and plan tasks that align with project objectives and timelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in game development, especially with Unreal Engine.

• Strong artistic vision, with a keen eye for detail, composition, and motion.

• Advanced proficiency with VFX tools and pipelines, including Niagara.

• Capability to create intricate materials in Unreal Engine.

• Comprehensive understanding of real-time rendering, lighting, shaders, and PBR.

• Expertise in real-time simulations and optimization.

• A proactive attitude, self-driven, and receptive to feedback.

• Experience managing and delivering impactful, self-directed projects.

• Clear and empathetic communication abilities.

• A portfolio that highlights your outstanding work in VFX for games.

• Proficient in both written and spoken English.

• Nice to Have: Experience in procedural content creation using Houdini.

• Familiarity with Blueprint scripting in Unreal Engine.

• Candidates should include a portfolio with their application.
