This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Strategize and conduct UX research for significant initiatives — including concept evaluations, prototype assessments, usability studies, and journey-focused research, emphasizing the testing of critical flows and concepts prior to development.
• Establish the standard for design evidence — outline what constitutes "sufficient evidence" and guarantee that major design decisions and launches are guided by research insights.
• Create a streamlined research operating model — implement recruitment, screening, consent processes, interview guides, templates, repositories, and methodologies that can scale efficiently without becoming overly cumbersome.
• Execute post-launch UX evaluations — analyze key customer journeys after release to measure task success, understanding, usability, and friction points, and integrate findings back into the design cycle.
• Uphold a high level of research integrity — recognize weak or biased research, question unsupported conclusions, and maintain transparency regarding the evidence's strengths and limitations.
• Collaborate across the organization to enhance research quality — provide guidance on customer and market research conducted by Marketing, Product, and Compliance teams, and assist in defining common evidence standards.
• Manage the research toolkit — choose, implement, and sustain the tools, repositories, and workflows necessary for a successful UX research practice.
• Incorporate AI into research processes — leverage AI to enhance transcription, synthesis, analysis, and reporting, while ensuring the maintenance of research quality and rigor.
• Over 6 years of practical experience in User Experience (UX) Research, Product Research, or Design Research.
• Extensive knowledge in moderated usability testing, prototype assessments, concept validation, user interviews, task-focused studies, and journey-level research.
• Proven track record of close collaboration with Product Designers throughout the product development process.
• Strong grasp of research methodologies, participant recruitment techniques, study design, bias detection, and evidence quality evaluation.
• Proficient in survey design and quantitative analysis, including a solid understanding of sample sizes, segmentation, and result interpretation.
• Experience in developing streamlined research operations, repositories, standards, and workflows.
• Proven experience in integrating AI tools into research workflows.
• Ability to work independently and establish a UX research practice from the ground up.
• Good understanding of investing, ETFs, personal finance, and behavioral finance decision-making, with the capability to weave financial context, risk, and regulations into research design and analysis.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, including the capacity to constructively challenge weak evidence.
• Fluent in English (C1 level and above) — as a UK-based company, this role requires regular communication with the team.
• Immediate impact from day one.
• Opportunities for growth.
• A transparent and open workplace culture.
• A supportive and experienced team.
• Remote-first and flexible work arrangements.
