Senior UX Designer – Temporary

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Develop wireframes and prototypes to visualize and convey design ideas, making adjustments based on feedback received.

• Design and establish interactive experiences that meet user goals, business aims, and technical limitations.

• Perform thorough user research to understand user needs and behaviors, utilizing insights to guide design choices with concrete evidence.

• Craft seamless experiences for digital products, ensuring the content is optimally organized and accessible.

• Champion user-centered design principles throughout the product development lifecycle, highlighting the significance of a user-focused approach.

• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, including advancements in AI-assisted design, while actively seeking ways to improve design processes and methodologies.

• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, such as senior project managers, product owners, business analysts, and developers, to ensure alignment between design goals and project objectives.

• Utilize AI-powered design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma Make, ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) to expedite ideation, content creation, and design exploration.

• Implement vibe coding techniques to quickly develop functional prototypes and proof of concept interfaces using AI-assisted code generation, facilitating faster validation of design concepts through real interactions.

• Assess and incorporate emerging AI tools into the UX workflow, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency in research synthesis, design iteration, and handoff processes.

• Leverage healthcare and health insurance domain expertise to design experiences that consider regulatory standards, accessibility requirements, and the needs of various user groups, including consumers, brokers, and assisters.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a resident of Colorado.

• Preferred education and/or training in Product Psychology, Human Interaction Computing, or Product Design.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare, health insurance, or a related regulated industry, with a solid understanding of enrollment workflows, eligibility systems, and consumer-facing health platforms.

• At least 5 years of experience in UX design, user research, or product design.

• Proficient in UX design prototyping software and user testing tools.

• Experience with Agile methodologies.

• Skilled in using product analytics software.

• Familiarity with AI-powered design and productivity tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, Figma Make) and enthusiasm for exploring new AI capabilities.

• Experience with or interest in vibe coding, utilizing AI-assisted code generation to swiftly create functional prototypes, interactive demos, or lightweight front-end interfaces.

• Basic knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/Angular) sufficient to guide and assess AI-generated code outputs.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
