Senior UX Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Create scalable, collaborative, and engaging online learning experiences for Fortune 500 companies, educational institutions, and training organizations.

• Manage 1–2 significant projects simultaneously as the design lead, guiding the process from initial problem identification to final execution.

• Collaborate with product management to define problems, establish project scope, explore design methodologies, and provide recommendations.

• Deliver production-ready mockups and assets while working alongside engineers to ensure quality and feasibility.

• Conduct user research and usability tests to validate design choices and gain insights into user objectives.

• Align stakeholders, propose solutions, and adjust project scope in response to challenges.

• Contribute to discussions regarding product strategy and roadmap development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in designing products that cater to end users and clients at scale.

• Demonstrated success in addressing complex real-world challenges through strategic thinking and user-focused design solutions.

• Expertise in wireframing, user flows, high-fidelity mockups, prototyping, user interviews, and usability testing.

• Advanced proficiency in Figma, including components and design libraries.

• Experience working within established design systems and contributing to their ongoing development.

• Strong foundation in visual design with a keen eye for detail and pixel-perfect execution.

• Knowledge of WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.

• Experience in designing responsive web and mobile experiences.

• Familiarity with HTML/CSS and understanding of development constraints.

• Experience in designing AI-powered features is a plus.

• Familiarity with GenAI tools is an added advantage.

• Capability to independently manage projects from problem identification to execution.

• Ability to manage stakeholder relationships and drive decisions without needing constant supervision.

• Strong collaboration skills with product managers and engineers.

• Ability to clearly communicate complex concepts and facilitate productive discussions.

• Adaptability to changes when new information or priorities arise.

• Capacity to balance data-driven decisions with cognitive empathy.
