This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

• You will oversee the user experience strategy for the website, encompassing web-based software.
• Collaborating with several product teams across Ford, you will be expected to take on a leadership role while working alongside multiple designers.
• A Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of 4 years of experience in digital and software design.
• At least 1 year of experience in leading and mentoring UX designers (either directly or indirectly) by showcasing best practices in design communication and methodologies, providing mentorship, and sharing insights and knowledge with peers.
• A Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in User Experience Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Service Design, Graphic Design, or a related field (e.g., Sociology, Anthropology, Psychology, Human Factors, etc.).
• The ability to build trust, maintain positive professional relationships, and foster an inclusive culture within a remote and dynamic work setting.
• Proven expertise in UX design throughout all phases of various projects.
• Experience in delivering projects from initial definition through execution and refinement.
• Demonstrated ability to build consensus, influence, and collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team comprising designers, product managers, and engineers, while establishing relationships, credibility, and proactive communication with team members and leaders.
• Skill in articulating the value of product features and identifying trade-offs to deliver effective digital products.
