This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Manage the complete payroll process for employees based in the U.S. on a weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, or monthly schedule.
• Ensure precise calculation and processing of salaries, overtime, bonuses, commissions, deductions, and garnishments.
• Review and confirm payroll data for thoroughness and accuracy before submission.
• Handle payroll adjustments, off-cycle payments, retroactive pay, and final pay calculations.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Benefits departments to ensure accurate maintenance of employee records.
• Reconcile payroll reports and investigate any discrepancies.
• Assist in payroll audits and maintain necessary payroll documentation.
• Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
• Assist with year-end payroll tasks including W-2 processing and tax reporting.
• Address employee payroll inquiries and resolve payroll-related issues promptly.
• Oversee user account provisioning, modifications, and deactivations within Active Directory.
• Support requests for payroll system access and role-based security assignments.
• Maintain user access controls in alignment with internal security policies.
• Work with IT teams to troubleshoot issues related to user access and authentication.
• Conduct regular access reviews and assist with audit requirements.
• Aid in onboarding and offboarding processes concerning payroll and HR systems access.
• Document procedures for system access and keep accurate records.
• Generate and analyze payroll reports for management and regulatory purposes.
• Monitor payroll compliance with company policies and relevant laws.
• Support SOX, internal, and external audits.
• Suggest process enhancements to improve payroll accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Over 5 years of experience in processing U.S. payroll.
• Comprehensive knowledge of multi-state payroll regulations, taxation, and wage/hour compliance.
• Familiarity with payroll platforms like ADP, Workday, UKG, Ceridian Dayforce, Paychex, or similar systems.
• Practical experience with Active Directory user administration.
• Experience in managing system access, permissions, and user lifecycle activities.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills and stakeholder management abilities.
• Willingness to work U.S. hours.
