Senior Underwriting Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Extracts and examines extensive datasets using descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics.

• Generates insights from historical loan performance data, identifies opportunities for onboarding new customer segments, and formulates credit solutions for the customer base utilizing various analytical approaches.

• Develops and enhances reports in collaboration with the data analytics team, underwriting, and operations teams.

• Utilizes custom scoring models for underwriting, pricing, and assessing profitability.

• Projects performance and monitors actual results against lending objectives.

• Works alongside vendors, data science, and technology teams to ensure that new strategies and models are executed precisely and as intended.

• Establishes and updates Procedure and Program documentation.

• Performs additional ad hoc analyses as necessary to achieve team objectives.

• Undertakes other assigned responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and professional experience.

• Generally, 5+ years of experience with a bachelor's degree or equivalent.

• Skilled in Microsoft Office, SAS, and SQL.

• Familiarity with Python, Snowflake, Amazon S3, and SageMaker.
