Senior UI Artist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Developing professional UI experiences with an emphasis on creating outstanding UX design, visual layouts, and concepts.

• Organizing and evaluating play-tests for user interface prototypes and the final in-game UI.

• Iterating on playable game flows to ensure all stakeholders can experience the UI prior to costly implementations.

• Designing motion graphic mock-ups to demonstrate intricate interactions.

• Engaging with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide informed solutions.

• Leading by example by establishing benchmarks, style guides, high-quality standards, workflows, documentation, and approvals.

• Reporting for both internal purposes and client needs.

• Keeping an eye on the future by researching, evaluating, and suggesting practices that maintain our edge in the industry!

⛳️ Requirements

• You possess a diverse, organized, and meticulous style.

• You have a comprehensive understanding of the roles and workflows within a UI art team, and how it collaborates with and supports the broader development team.

• You are an outstanding Graphic Designer with a robust knowledge of art theory.

• Advanced understanding of User Interface theory and practice, including its terminology and best practices.

• Proficient with standard UI and graphic design tools, alongside a solid foundational knowledge of art tools and game engines like Figma, Photoshop, and Unreal Engine.

• Capable of creating and presenting high-level documentation, style guides, and ideation.

• Experience advising team members on UI production matters, with solid experience in production tools such as Jira.

• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong aptitude for analyzing and understanding visual direction.

• A strong communicator who can articulate conceptual ideas and is open to constructive critique.

• **What would be beneficial:**

• Prior experience in a similar role is highly preferred.

• Experience in direct client communication.

• Familiarity with UI concept art and white box wireframing.
