This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Daily management of campaigns across our owned channels (Meta, Apple Search Ads, Google Ads, TikTok) – encompassing bid optimization, budget management, and audience and placement testing.
• Creative testing – working closely with the Creative team to develop briefs, implement and refine ad creatives, and document insights.
• Performance reporting – generating weekly dashboards and conducting monthly in-depth analyses; evaluating channel-specific CAC, ROAS, conversion rates, and quality-of-acquisition metrics (e.g., payback period and retention rates).
• Channel testing – planning and executing structured tests on new channels, including thorough measurement methodologies and well-informed stop/scale decisions.
• Tactical coordination with external partners in CTV/LTV/Programmatic – conducting briefings, weekly alignments, and creative evaluations.
• Attribution & tooling – ensuring an accurate MMP setup (Adjust) and collaborating closely with the Data team to analyze data and Marketing Mix Models (MMM).
• Collaboration with adjacent teams – particularly Organic Social Media, Brand, CRM, and Creative.
• Ensuring compliance – adherence to regulatory standards in the German lottery market (GlüStV, GGL) and implementation of related paid-marketing policies.
• 3–5 years of practical experience in Paid User Acquisition or Performance Marketing for a B2C application or consumer product.
• Strong platform expertise in at least two of the following: Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, Google Ads, Apple Search Ads.
• Experience with programmatic display / DSPs (e.g., DV360, The Trade Desk).
• Practical experience in creative testing – capable of developing creative briefs, setting up A/B test frameworks, analyzing results, and iterating as necessary.
• Strong understanding of attribution and data analysis – comprehensive knowledge of MMPs and attribution (e.g., Adjust, AppsFlyer, Branch), iOS/Android tracking, SKAdNetwork (SKAN), and event mapping; enjoys working in a data-driven manner.
• Excellent analytical skills – proficient with dashboards, GA4, Adjust, or similar tools, and spreadsheet modeling; able to generate clear and insightful dashboards.
• Proven ability to sustainably reduce CAC while scaling campaigns, ideally supported by case studies.
• Fluent in English (working language); German is an advantage but not a requirement.
