This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada.
• Administer trusts in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, fiduciary standards, and the stipulations of each governing document.
• Position the Nevada trust business for ongoing growth by facilitating business development, enhancing market visibility, and broadening client relationships.
• Manage the daily administration of client relationships, encompassing various trust, agency, and IRA accounts.
• Establish and uphold internal policies, procedures, and programs that bolster efficient trust administration.
• Ensure adherence to fiduciary, legal, ERISA, IRS, and other pertinent regulatory standards.
• Represent the organization through active involvement in relevant professional, industry, and community organizations and initiatives.
• Develop and improve organizational capabilities that enhance service delivery, operational efficiency, and client outcomes.
• Oversee the assessment and analysis of complex estate planning documents, including the preparation of follow-up summaries for trustors and beneficiaries.
• Implement the provisions of the Nevada Probate Code relating to trust administration and evaluate the tax consequences of various trust structures.
• Meet with clients, advisors, and prospective clients to discuss estate planning, tax issues, and financial considerations, serving as the trust officer for designated client relationships.
• A bachelor's degree is required; a master's degree, Juris Doctor (J.D.), or an equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in trust administration, including management experience.
• Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA) designation is preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of living trusts, testamentary trusts, charitable remainder trusts, estate administration, and IRA accounts.
• Experience in managing trust-owned real estate, investment management, and trust operations/securities processing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and database management systems.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to cultivate effective relationships with clients, professional advisors, and colleagues.
