Senior Trial Vendor Manager – UK, Ireland, France

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Take charge of all vendor-related components of global clinical trials to ensure study outcomes are achieved within the defined schedule, budget, and quality/compliance standards.

• Anticipate and address vendor-related risks and potential challenges.

• Work in close collaboration with the study team lead and team members throughout the study duration.

• Evaluate vendor-related sections of the protocol during its development phase.

• Manage interactions with vendors alongside vendor partner functions.

• Assist with contract negotiations when necessary.

• Responsible for vendor cost management, budget assessments, invoice reconciliation, and purchase order close-out.

• Ensure that vendors adhere to quality and service level expectations in their trial delivery.

• Participate in vendor kick-off meetings for categories supported by VSM.

• Oversee site activation progress and tackle any related issues and risks.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or its equivalent is mandatory, with a preference for an advanced degree.

• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience coupled with a strong understanding of clinical operation processes and vendor management.

• Comprehensive knowledge of GxP and ICH regulations.

• Proficient understanding of clinical trial design and its alignment with supplier requirements.

• Experience in User Acceptance Testing for e-COA and IRT.

• Robust vendor management capabilities, including outsourcing, contracting, and the sourcing of clinical services.

• Results-oriented: proven track record of delivering projects on time.

• Strong skills in influencing and negotiation.

• Excellent relationship-building abilities along with effective written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills, with a focus on meeting deadlines.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, functioning well as a team player.

• Strong organizational insight with advanced planning and project management competencies.

• Demonstrated networking skills and the ability to share knowledge and experiences among colleagues.

• Proficient in both written and spoken English.
