Senior Tree Care Safety & Loss Control Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct both on-site and virtual assessments of loss control for clients.

• Assess safety protocols, equipment, training initiatives, and operational practices.

• Produce written reports and recommendations tailored for clients.

• Aid clients in implementing risk reduction strategies and enhancing safety programs.

• Execute safety inspections and operational evaluations at worksites.

• Create training materials for both online and instructor-led courses aimed at tree care professionals.

• Develop course content, presentations, videos, assessments, and supplementary materials.

• Contribute to the formation of leadership, technical skill, and safety curricula.

• Facilitate the execution of training programs through collaboration with instructors and industry partners.

• Administer competency assessments and safety consultations in the field.

• Assist in incident investigations and the planning of corrective actions.

• Engage in industry events, conferences, and trade exhibitions.

• Foster relationships with arborists, contractors, municipalities, and utility clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in tree care, arboriculture, utility vegetation management, or a related field.

• Extensive knowledge of climbing techniques, rigging, aerial lift operations, chainsaw safety, and worksite safety standards.

• Proven experience in performing safety audits, inspections, or operational evaluations.

• Background in delivering training sessions or presenting to audiences.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Willingness to travel across North America as needed.
